HRMC bids farewell to retiring Radiologist Dr. Edward Warren

Hampton Regional Medical Center staff members gathered in the hospital's cafeteria last week to bid farewell to Radiologist Dr. Edward "Bo" Warren, who has been employed by the hospital for nearly 15 years.

Staff members gathered to share fond memories of Dr. Warren and reminisce with former colleagues who attended the celebration. Prior to the event, Imaging Department members decorated the cafeteria and brought with them many of the Dr. Warren's favorite food items, including a beautifully decorated cake.

During the event, staff honored the retiring doctor by presenting him a photograph and frame signed by numerous HRMC staff members who have worked alongside him for many years.

Nearing the end of the celebration, HRMC Chief Executive Officer Dave Hamill spoke to attendees regarding Dr. Warren's great service to not only the hospital, but the entire community throughout his years of medical service.

"You have been an integral part of this hospital," stated Hamill.

After kind words made on behalf of Dr. Warren, he was presented with a commemorative plaque from HRMC.

Dr. Warren's position at HRMC has been filled by fellow Radiologist, and Dr. Warren's longtime friend, Dr. Thomas Doud. Dr. Doud, who comes to HRMC with over three decades of experience, is excited to continue to build upon the legacy built by Dr. Warren while at HRMC.
