HAMPTON REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER WELCOMES 3 NEW PHYSICIANS TO EXPAND THEIR CLINICAL SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY

Pediatrician, Internist/ Cardiologist, and Oncologist Join HRMC at Coastal Plains

VARNVILLE, S.C. (October 18, 2021) - Committed to providing top-quality medical services to meet the community's needs, Hampton Regional Medical Center & Coastal Plains are proud to announce new medical services and physicians.

Anne Marie Abao-Beauchamp, MD, FAAP is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been taking care of pediatric patients for more than 10 years, from newborns to 18+ years of age with special interest in preventive medicine. Developing a bond with her patients and their family is something that she finds very important in keeping her patients well and healthy as they grow older.

"With the addition of Dr. Anne, our community will benefit greatly by having a comprehensive and preventative pediatrician close to home."


Lee O. Butterfield, MD, FACC has over 25 years of Internal Medicine and Cardiology experience and brings a wealth of knowledge for treating complex medical and cardiovascular issues to our community. Dr. Butterfield is dedicated to providing high quality, patient centered care, and his goal as a physician is to "not only treat the disease process, but more importantly prevent the disease from happening in the first place".

"His background in internal medicine and cardiology will play a critical role in the health of a community. Rodney Williams, MD is a MUSC Health Medical Oncologist who has more than 30 years of experience. He brings the expertise of the state's only comprehensive academic medical center and one of the nation's top-ranked cancer programs to the Hampton area. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and specializes in Hematology, Oncology and Breast Cancer.
