Since 1950, Hampton Regional Medical Center (HRMC) has provided best in class, patient-centered healthcare to residents in Hampton County and the surrounding areas. HRMC is a 32-bed, not-for-profit community hospital affiliated with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) as of May 2019.
HRMC provides a full scope of medical services, including an intensive care unit (ICU), along with 24-hour emergency care, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, and a full-service laboratory. Innovative healthcare at the facility includes MUSC Telehealth as well as a surgery department, cardiopulmonary care, rehabilitative services, and diabetic wellness.
Conveniently located on campus are Coastal Plains Physicians Associates and Coastal Plains Primary Care, delivering advanced, comprehensive primary and specialty care. Working under the guiding principle that people living in rural areas deserve local access to top-notch medical care, HRMC in affiliation with MUSC Health is equipped with world-class medical technology combined with well trained, credentialed, and certified clinical staff.
