Biography:
Dr. Thomas Newland received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina; thereafter, he completed post graduate medical training in ophthalmology at Kresgue Eye Institute. Dr. Newland has been the recipient of various honors and awards, including Chief Resident of Kresge Eye Institute. In addition to serving as a member of various professional societies, including the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, he has co-authored numerous publications.
