Hampton Regional Medical Center Opens New Medical Office Building June 3, 2013

VARNVILLE, SC (May 29, 2013) - Hampton Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is proud to announce the opening of its new 10,000 SF state-of-the-art medical office building on Monday, June 3. The building will be the new home of Coastal Plains Primary Care and HRMC's Outpatient Rehabilitation department.

The opening of the new medical office building is an additional mark of expansion since the hospital opened its new facility nearly five years ago. "The new medical office building will allow us to provide continued, high quality medical services to residents in our area," said Nikki Troxclair, director of marketing for HRMC. "Our mission is to provide compassion, commitment and excellence to every patient, every time."

The building provides additional square feet to both the primary care practice and the outpatient rehabilitation department. The rehabilitation department will be outfitted with new equipment that will help facilitate the recovery for patients undergoing physical and occupational therapy. Additionally, the hospital's Cardiac Rehabilitation department will move into the first floor space in the hospital building that was previously occupied by the Physical Therapy department. The relocation of the Cardiac Rehab department expands their space so it can accommodate additional patients.
