Financial Assistance Program

Hampton Regional Medical Center is dedicated to healing all people with compassion, commitment, and excellence. The Financial Assistance Program is also dedicated to assisting our patients who are facing financial hardships. We strive for service excellence and are committed to treating our patients with dignity and respect.

The Financial Assistance Program is designed to ensure support is provided to patients demonstrating a financial need and is in compliance with any required Federal or State regulations related to financial assistance. Approval is based on your completed and signed application, along with the required proof of income that meets HRMC's current guidelines. The financial information provided to HRMC is strictly confidential.

If you are experiencing financial difficulties, you may qualify for a discount by submitting the Financial Assistance Application.

How to Apply for Financial Assistance

Please deliver your completed application with required information to HRMC's Patient Financial Services Department or mail to the following address:

Please read the application in its entirety and attach ALL required information before mailing or bringing it to the Patient Financial Services Department. Failure to provide the necessary information will delay the processing of your application. The application cannot be completed without income verification. You must sign and date the application in the space provided before the application is accepted for consideration.

If you do not qualify for a discount, you may call our office at (803)943-2771 (toll free: 1-800-575-1435) ext. 1213 to discuss payment options. Our Financial Counselor is available Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
