Materials Management


The role of the Materials Management Department is to ensure every department, medical and non-medical, have the resources necessary to operate efficiently.  From basic office supplies to complex diagnostic equipment, this Department takes the lead role in the entire purchasing process. The Materials Management Department at HRMC handles the purchase requirements of all supplies, equipment and services required for maintaining operations and providing clinical services. By integrating an efficient purchasing and tracking system, the Materials Management Department works with the Accounting Department to maintain positive relationships with vendors and to supply the needs of the hospital in a timely manner. While acquiring materials that are of the best quality, the department also acts as a liaison between a supplier and the respective hospital department by informing the department about any of the latest and/or upgraded products available on the market.
