Aerosol Medication (breathing) Treatments

Aerosol Medication (breathing) treatments are performed at HRMC by using a mouth piece or face mask in order to promote a bronchodilation, a cough reflex, decrease airway inflammation, and prevent the progression of respiratory infections. Treatments may be recommended for patients suffering from: Asthma, Bronchitis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Pneumonia, or Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), or any condition indicating a need for them.
